Mr. Aphiwe Mpikwa Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Aphiwe Mpikwa completed his LLB degree with the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2017, commenced articles at Van Der Merwe Ferreira Van Wyk (VFV Attorneys) in July 2018. During his articles Aphiwe was exposed to Family Law litigation (Divorce proceedings; Children`s rights; Maintenance and Contract disputes), Property Law (Property transfers; Registration of Trusts; Acquisitions, Mergers, Take-overs and Business Rescues and Commercial litigation) Commercial Litigation (Drafting and appearing for Liquidation applications; Default Judgments; Summary Judgments; Rescission of Judgments; Debt Collection and Debt Restructuring). Under the guidance of Schalk Van Der Merwe who`s an Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer and a member of the Legal Practice Council. Aphiwe is also an LLM candidate in Consumer Protection Law with the University of Pretoria. He is further an Attorney and Notary and does all notarial related work for the firm including Ante nuptial & Post-Nuptial Contracts, Notarial Tie Agreements, Notarial Servitudes, Notarial Cessions and Apostilles.
